CARPET
ABOUT
WRONG
THOUGHTS
1. Carpet is a source of dust
- No. On the contrary, carpet acts as a filter, cleaning the air in your home from dust and creating healthier conditions.
2. Carpet absorbs stains.
- This is only typical of low-quality carpets. The threads used in high-quality carpets have a protective layer and do not absorb stains. In most cases, a simple vacuum cleaner will do the job. For oily and difficult-to-remove stains, a simple carpet cleaning agent, which is available everywhere, is enough.
3. Carpet is a den of worms.
- Since PP, PA, PES yarns used in carpets are all synthetic, they cannot be a nest for any living creature and are not suitable for the habitat of such small creatures. The aforementioned nits can rarely be found in 100% natural wool carpets.
4. Carpet cleaning is a pain
- Vacuuming once a week is sufficient, and in high-traffic areas or areas where people walk with shoes, vacuuming twice a week is sufficient.
5. Carpet causes allergies.
- This is a misconception. On the contrary, since carpeting is made of synthetic materials, there can be no allergy problems. Also, carpeting is the most recommended flooring for people with asthma.
6. European carpets are no different from others.
- European and American-made carpets are distinguished by their higher-quality thread material. These carpets are completely resistant to mold, stains, and unpleasant odors, and will serve you for many years to come.
