HOW TO CARE FOR CARPET
Like any floor covering, carpeting requires special care. This page will provide you with information on carpet care methods.
Vacuum cleaning
Depending on the room in which the carpet is located and the way the residents use it, the carpet should be vacuumed at a certain time. If you search English-language sources, you can find out that the carpet should be cleaned at least twice a week. However, this information is not relevant for the Azerbaijani population. The fact is that, unlike many Western nations, walking inside the house with shoes worn outside is unacceptable in Azerbaijan. Both guests and residents take off their shoes at the door or in the hallway and then enter the house. This both increases the life of the carpet and reduces the need for vacuuming. Therefore, depending on use, the carpet in the hallway should be vacuumed 1-2 times a week, and the carpet in other rooms should be vacuumed once a week. It is more desirable for the vacuum cleaner head to have a brush. In rooms with little traffic, for example, in the bedroom, vacuuming every 2-3 weeks is also sufficient. While vacuuming your carpet too late will not affect the quality or lifespan of your carpet, it will affect the cleanliness of your home and the air around it. Dry vacuuming your carpet is more than enough to ensure cleanliness.
Stain removal
The main advantage of European and American-made carpets is that they have a protective layer against stains. This does not mean that European carpets are stain-resistant. However, unlike carpets made in Turkey, Uzbekistan, and China, European carpets do not absorb stains and can be easily cleaned.
Many stains, such as buttermilk or azsırım water, are cleaned very quickly. You can place a slightly damp clean white cloth on the spilled area and wait for the stain to absorb. After doing this process a few times, if the stain remains, you can clean the stain with a soft brush and vacuum it.
To remove grease stains, blood, wine, and other stains, it is recommended that you purchase a carpet cleaning product that you can find at any supermarket and follow the instructions on it.
